YSL $780 New VTG Yves Saint Laurent 44 12 Cargo Low Rise Skirt Black Midi Runway

This vintage black, pencil skirt is by French luxury clothing designer Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche for size 44 or US size 12. The 1990’s skirt is new, the tags have been removed, and after doing some research, I think it originally retailed for $780. (Give or take a hundred 🤭) It’s a heavier weight cotton twill with 3% elasthane, so it has a bit of stretch. It’s high waisted, knee length, with large welt pockets on each side that are sewn shut and can be opened. Like a cargo skirt. It has a flat front, a back zipper, and a 9” slit in the back. There’s an interesting seam running around the skirt, almost like a double seam.
