American Vintage Vintage 1950s Newton Elkin Lord & Taylor Navy Satin Rhinestone Heels Size 8

Own a piece of history with this pair of vintage 1950s Newton Elkin navy blue satin heels with rhinestone embellishment, size 8. Iconic American shoes by Newton Elkin shoes are in the permanent collection of several museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute collection. This pair was produced for Lord & Taylor in the 1950s. Each shoe is numbered. The heel is 1.5". Structurally, the shoes are in Very Good condition and appear to have been worn only a few times. The navy blue satin has no stains, discoloration, snags, or signs of wear. The rhinestone border is missing stones throughout -- they can be replaced, or the shoes worn as-is -- it's only noticeable upon close examination.
