Size 6
Wear a piece of fashion history with this PRISTINE 1970s Anne Klein two-piece 100% wool pant suit in iconic black and white houndstooth. Union-made in the USA. Klein died in 1974 and a young Donna Karan took over as designer for the brand -- this piece could've been designed by either one of these legends. Marked size 10, but as with all vintage sizing, it fits smaller -- more like a modern size 6. Please look at measurements for correct fit. Jacket: 17" armpit to armpit laid flat. 28" top of shoulder to bottom hem. 15" shoulder to shoulder. Pants: 11" rise. 28" waist. 33" inseam. I cannot stress enough that the miracle of this piece is its condition, which is pristine with no flaws or signs of wear. I wouldn't be surprised if it was never worn at all. At most it was worn a few times and beautifully cared for by a career gal who knew iconic when she saw it.
Anne Klein was a visionary womenswear designer who revolutionized American sportswear throughout the 20th century. The sophisticated separates, dresses, shoes, and watches from Klein’s eponymous label still embody her effervescent spirit and unique design style.
