This is a funky cool vintage marcasite and sterling silver insect brooch. The pin is beautifully designed with marcasites all across the back/body/wings of the pin. It’s a little hard to tell what kind of insect it’s meant to be. It has almost a wasp like look, but could also be a butterfly or bee. The tail segment has an onyx stone set in it. The brooch looks Victorian, but is most likely 80s.
