Brown pleated platter hat from iconic milliner Laddie Northridge, sold at the French Room, Marshall Field & Co. Likely mid to late 1940's. Condition: Overall good vintage condition, no stains holes but a few areas where the stitching has come loose including a loose liner on the inside cap. I am unsure if the pleated portion was ever sewn down on to portions of the crown. The netting does have breaks, tears, I am unsure of the original style. There are two hatpins with a bundle of the netting that I am unsure if this was the original style of these. Has a strap.
