Vintage Alva Museum Replicas Signed Angel Pendant Necklace On Gold Filled Chain

This beautiful 1970’s necklace is made by Alva Studios, a studio founded by artist Alfred Wolkenberg. His passion was jewelry versions of classic museum pieces. This necklace is an interpretation of the Archangel Gabriel inspired by Gerard David's 16th century "The Annuciation", that is housed in the NY Metropolitan Museum of Art. The clasp on the chain is stamped GF (I can’t make out the first part) please see photos The pendant measures approximately 2.5” x 1.25”
