This woman’s vintage, light gray, knee length skirt is by New York's luxury clothing designer Zoran for size OS. The vintage skirt is new, the tags from the Henri Bendel Store in New York are still attached, and it originally retailed in the 1970’s/1980’s for $550. ( Sorry, I can’t narrow the timeline down more than that.) The skirt is 100% silk, crepe de chine and has an elastic waist, but the hips and hem at the knees are too small in my opinion for a OSFM skirt. There’s no stretch in the fabric. Please check the measurements. Zoran is the grandfather of minimalism, beginning with a few pieces in 1976 that he started at the Henri Bendel Store. He was so desirable that he never dropped prices or advertised and he consistently sold out. He no longer creates clothing for retail, but he does privately dress individual clients.
